Banned Battle Companies:
-Rangers of the North.
-Iron Hills
-Dead of Dunharrow

Each battle company’s 3 starting heroes will automatically start with 5 experience. They will roll for their first upgrade on their path in front of their first opponent.

Rounds and Scenarios
This event has a proposed 6 rounds, based of off timing and completion. If the rounds are running later then I may decide to drop the 6th round. Each round will consist of 1 hour of play time as shown in the Schedule of Events section.

Each of the rounds, the players will rotate through the tables which will represent various locations found in Middle Earth. Each table will have an associated scenario dedicated to it from those presented in the Battle Companies Sourcebook.

Round Pairings
At the beginning of the day the players will be grouped into two pools. The two pools will be paired off against each other, and for the first round, players will be randomly placed against a player from the opposite pool of players and assigned a table to play at. For each round after the first, Players in Pool A will rotate through the tables clockwise, and Pool B players will rotate through the tables counter clockwise.

In game objectives
Objectives will be decided by the scenario you end up playing at you assigned table.

Tournament Scoring
As this is not a regular tournament, we will not be calculating tournament points.

We will be tracking the following information.

- The Ravaging Horde, the player with the most living models at the end
- The Broken, he who suffered the most injuries & deaths
- The Scholar, the player who has the most will
- The Gladiator, the character who has earned the most experience
- Grand General (most wins)

Boards and Terrain Setup
The boards are 3’x3’, and terrain will be placed in advance by the Tournament Organizer or delegate and may not be moved by players under any circumstances. If for any reason you need a piece of terrain moved, please come to an agreement with your opponent, and notify the T.O.

Rules Questions
Players are encouraged to work out simple rules queries themselves, however where the Tournament Organizer is required to intervene they will be entirely impartial in their adjudication of rules disputes. Naturally the Tournament Organizer is the sole authority at the event and, no matter the outcome, the TO’s ruling is final.
