Objects of the game : Collect the most "gemstones" by the end of the game.
Game preparations : Place the game board between both players. The 6 pockets in front of you make up your playingarea. also the large pocket - called the Mancala - to your right is yours. Place 4 stones (colours do not matter) in each of the 12 smallerpockets.
How to play : One player starts the game by taking all stones from any one of his own pockets and placing one of them in each pocket, starting from the next pocket to the right and proceeding anti-clockwise around the board. Your Mancala is counted as a pocket.
If you have enough stones in your hand to go past your Mancala, continue placing them into your opponents's pockets. However, skip his Mancala when placing stones.
If the last stone in your hand ends up inyour Mancala, you get to take another turn.
If the last stone in your hand ends up in an empty pocket on your side of the board, you maytake that stone - plus all the opponent's stones that are in the opposite pocket - and place them in your own Mancala.
Winning the game : The game ends when all six pockets on one side of the game boardare empty. The other player takes the remaining stones from his pockets and places them in his Mancala. The player who has the most stones in his Mancala wins.
